Sustainability has become an important philosophy about taking care of our natural resources. At Chaco, we’ve found a way to help you sustain your Z sandals through repairing the various components. ReChaco is our Michigan-based facility where we’ve rehabilitated over 250,000 pairs of Chaco Z Sandals. Instead of filling up landfills, you get another life out of your Chacos – definitely, a win-win for you and planet earth!  You’ll be able to take your new-old Chacos on your next hike, shopping excursion, vacation, and more destinations. The possibilities are (nearly!) endless, just like they were when your Chacos were new-new.

The Michigan ReChaco facility can fix practically anything that might need fixing on your Chaco Z sandals. From straps to buckles to soles, you’ll find the folks at ReChaco can work magic on your beloved sandals.

Here are the things you need to do, so we can do our part at ReChaco.

We RePair for nature. You Rewear for adventure.

1

Go to our ReChaco site to start your repair.

2

Tell us which sandal you need repaired (e.g., Women’s Z/2® Classic Sandal).

3

Then, note which parts you need to be repaired (e.g., straps, buckles, outsoles).

4

If you need straps and/or outsoles replaced, the next step is to select a new color/pattern.

5

After completing the shipping and billing details, you’ll send your Chacos to our ReChaco facility using your method of choice (USPS FedEx, UPS, etc.).

6

In most cases, your Chaco Z sandal repairs will be finished within two weeks.

7

Your credit card will not be charged until we send your Chacos back to you.

8

Wear your Chacos proudly! Please tag us on Instagram with @chacofootwear and #chaconation.

That’s it. Just eight simple steps to get your Chacos repaired, renewed, and reinvigorated, so you can rewear your Chaco Zs for another 1000 or so miles!

  2. We bought my daughter a pair of Chacos before She left on her missions trip to the Dominican Republic. We bought them on July 1 and she started wearing them July 20th. On July 24th, her first day on her trip she sent me a pic of her chacos from the airport. The whole bottom of one sandle is coming apart.

    1. Hi Dawn, bummer! We’re sorry to hear that. We’d recommend she email photos and details of what happened to our team at Rechaco@chacos.com, as well as how long she will be in the DR and her shipping address there. We’re here to help!
